Why upgrade to a 20″ cutter?
For years copy centers have used 18-1/2″ paper cutters in their operations. This has worked well because the digital copiers have been set up to run up to a 12″ x 18″ sheet of paper. Now digital color copiers are adding the ability to run 13″ x 19″ paper so people can run 12″ x 18″ copies with full bleeds when cut down to size. This has created an issue for users of 18-1/2″ cutters. You can still cut the 13″ x 19″ sheets but you have to cut the short ends of the paper first, cutting the 19″ side down to an 18″ size. Now the paper is cut to 18″ size on the long ends and they can now be cut in the 18-1/2″ cutter. This is a pain in the neck that can cost time and, as we know, time is money. Save time and money by upgrading to a 20″ paper cutter that is matched to your digital color copier.
