Spiral Binding Co., Inc. (“Spiral”), a leader in document finishing equipment and supplies, was honored as a semi-finalist at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s (“FDU”) 2008 New Jersey Family Business of the Year Awards.
The annual event, held since 1992, recognizes the vital economic and community contributions made by New Jersey family businesses whose innovative strategies and business practices have had a positive impact on the state and local economy and on our society in general. This year’s ceremony was held on October 7, 2008 at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ.
“As they say, ‘it is an honor to be nominated’ and we truly feel that way,” stated Robert Roth, president of Spiral. “To have Spiral named one of five semi-finalists for our category and to be recognized for our work and contributions is incredible. We are thrilled!”
Each year, FDU honors select New Jersey family businesses, chosen from an intensive screening process. Spiral was honored in the Businesses with Annual Sales Over $10M. Spiral received a plaque during the ceremony, as well as a personal letter of congratulations from New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine, who declared October 7 “New Jersey Family Business Day”.
